John's subjects feature Western heroes, both fictional and historical, including Annie Oakley, Vera McGinnis, Jimmie Rodgers, Gus from Lonesome Dove, San Antonio Rose, and wildlife sculptures of longhorns, buffalo, and horses, jackrabbits and roadrunners. John also creates life size and portrait sculptures by special commission.
