Fredericksburg Winery was named by U.S.A. Today as one of the top three wineries in Texas. The Fredericksburg Winery is located in a 10,600 square foot facility on Main Street in Fredericksburg. The actual wine production is done here. Please note a “winery” is where you make wine, a “vineyard” is where you grow grapes. Vineyards are farms whose crops happen to be grapes. Wineries and vineyards are not mutually exclusive nor mutually inclusive but the vast majority of vineyards do not – repeat do not have wineries. By the same token some wineries do not have vineyards.
