Fredericksburg’s New Year’s Eve Countdown!

The City of Fredericksburg will present Countdown to 2020 at Marktplatz on New Year’s Eve. The first free event is themed for families and those who do not wish to stay up late and will feature moonwalks, a trackless train, food/beverages, face painting, arts and crafts, a 5 pm dance performance by M Power Dance Studio and a 6 pm ball drop. After the first event ends, the City will reset the ball and host a free, all-ages event that will begin at 9 pm and feature live music from Groove Night and a midnight ball drop. Bring your blankets and chairs and join us!  Rain or shine.

Children’s event from 4 to 6 pm; all-ages event from 9 pm to 12:30 am.  Free admission.
