The Pioneer Museum is pleased to continue to offer its historical and architectural walking tour of Fredericksburg. The tour lasts approximately two hours and will be guided by Fredericksburg natives and cover areas not normally available to visitors. Learn about the origins of German immigration to Texas, hear about the original buildings and inhabitants of these buildings and learn the basics about the architectural style used by the early immigrants.
The tour will be offered every Wednesday in March, April and May at 5 pm. Starting time for tours in June will be 6 pm. Cost is $15 for adults and $10 for students. Tickets will only be available at the Schandua House just prior to each tour. If necessary, the tour guides will cancel due to weather no later than 3 pm the day of the tour. The tour is not recommended for children under the age of 10.
