Historical and Architectural Walking Tour of Fredericksburg (Wednesdays)

The Pioneer Museum continues its walking tour of Fredericksburg that will begin at the Schandua House at 111 E. Austin St.  The tour time lasts approximately two hours. The tours will be guided by Fredericksburg natives and will cover areas not normally available to visitors. Learn about the origins of German immigration to Texas, hear about the original buildings and inhabitants of these buildings and learn the basics about the architectural style used by the early immigrants.  The Pioneer Museum is located at 325 W. The tour will be offered every Wednesday at 4:30 pm.  Cost is $15 for adults and $10 for students. The tour is not recommended for small children. The tours lasts about two hours and covers about two miles.
