July 5th Star Party

Join Hilmy Cellars on July 5th from 9 p.m. – midnight. for our annual Star Gazing Party! Planetary geologists Eddie Hrncir and Gabriel Segura will set up their computerized telescopes during this New Moon, when light pollution at a minimum and star visibility at a maximum!

Come see the rings of Saturn, the moons of Jupiter, galaxies, stars, and so much more. Listen and learn with your family and friends to fascinating Greek myths and stories depicted in the stars, along with learning how to find our North Star and Polaris. See your astrological sign, such as Taurus, Gemini, Leo, Virgo, Scorpius, and Sagittarius outlined by Eddie’s powerful laser as he points out the stars to us.

Welcome cocktail (“mock”-tail for children!), bonfire, s’mores, and glow bracelets will be included in your admission ticket.

Food to be determined.

Please be aware, this is an outdoor event and it will be dark! Closed toe shoes recommended. Bug spray will be provided.
