A Texas native, Cody Wider was born and raised in the heart of the East Texas Pineywoods. Hailing from the small map dot of Colmesneil, Texas, his brand of music is like wearing your favorite pair of faded jeans with a new pair of custom boots. Cody’s brother-in-law, renowned guitarist and artist Gary Lee Cox, convinced Cody to play a few shows with him and his band, The Lonestar Souvenirs. The Lonestar Souvenirs is a band out of Austin, TX. Their music consists of a diverse list of original songs in the tune of Texas Country, Blues, Rock and Pop mixed in with a wide variety of cover songs.
