Join the Oktoberfest Kraut Run, hosted by the Fredericksburg Morning Rotary Club, on the first Saturday of October at Fredericksburg Middle School. This dog- and stroller-friendly event features a 5K or 8K timed run or a 5K non-timed walk through Fredericksburg’s charming streets. Participants are encouraged to wear Oktoberfest costumes, with the top three earning social media bragging rights. After the race, enjoy a German-themed celebration. Proceeds support Fredericksburg ISD literacy programs. Registration and details are available online.
