Lady Bird Johnson Municipal Pool Olympic-size pool. During the summer months beginning May 27th. Hours are 1:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Cost is $1.00 per person for all day. It is located on Recreation Loop, across from the Tatsch House.

Lady Bird Johnson Park Tennis Courts Six tennis courts - four lighted - give opportunity to participate in this popular game. Located on Recreation Loop next to the swimming pool. Court use is free during daylight hours. Lights cost $2.00 per hour per court.

Lost Maples State Natural Area Along the Sabinal River, springs flow through scenic and rugged limestone canyons, filling little ponds with grassy banks, perfect for pitching a tent. Old Tunnel Wildlife Management Area The abandoned railroad tunnel is home to up to three million Brazilian free-tailed bats (T. b. mexicana) and 3,000 Cave myotis (Myotis velifer) from April to October, and visitors come to watch the bats emerge from the tunnel each night.

Pedernales Falls State Park A clear, spring-fed river flows down gently sloping limestone creating the spectacular "falls". The falls and the first three miles, are closed to swimming, wading and tubing, but other areas along the beautiful river are open for water play.
