Reading with a Ranger at Pioneer Memorial Library occurs monthly on the second Monday, from October 14, 2024, to April 14, 2025, at 115 W. Main St., Fredericksburg. This free program, from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM, combines nature-themed storytelling with the charm of a historic library. Designed for children ages 4-8, it offers a fun way to enjoy parks and public libraries.

Join the festive Santa Day Parade on the first Saturday of December in Fredericksburg, starting at 10 AM. Santa will ride through downtown on a Fredericksburg Fire Department fire engine, beginning at 800 W. Main St., traveling east to Washington St., and ending at the Gillespie County Courthouse Square gazebo.
