Car enthusiasts can find just about anything at this annual event.  A "car corral" has vintage autos for sale in various states of restoration and there will also be a flea market. Among the many items for sale are vehicles and parts, tools, auto accessories, hats, books, clothes and various souvenirs. Concessions will be available. The fund is designed to provide financial support to the Fredericksburg Police Department for projects and initiatives that are not covered by their regular budget including officer housing, equipment, and training or education.

One of the Texas Hill Country’s biggest parades has over 200 units, marches down Main Street and kicks off the 135th annual Gillespie County Fair. The parade starts behind the courthouse and travels east to S. Washington, then turns and goes west on Main to Edison St. Bring your chairs and arrive early! Celebrating the grape harvest season - come out for the Annual Grape Stomp.  There is no fee and no reservations required to stomp grapes. It is "first come, first served". Hours: Saturdays, 10 AM - 5:30 PM; Sundays, 11 AM - 5:30 PM.  Grape stomping is the traditional way of separating the juice from the skins (if making white wine) or separating red wine from the skins.  Bring your friends and family! Children may stomp grapes but must be accompanied by their parent. Come on out for a weekend of fun.  Start off with team roping Friday evening at 6 PM, free entry.  Start Saturday off with Corn-Hole at 11 AM, Washer Pitching at noon,  and a 42 Tournament at 1 PM.  Also starting at 1 PM  there will be Kid Fishing and live music.  The parade kicks off Sat at 5 PM followed by Bar-B-Que at 6PM.  The Lester Meier Rodeo begins at 7:30 followed at 9PM with a dance.
