Mark your calendars for the 2026 Crawfish Festival. Sponsored by the Fredericksburg Jaycees and held on Memorial Day weekend at Marktplatz, this annual festival will feature live music, along with arts & crafts vendors, great food, a carnival for the kids, and CRAWFISH. Complete schedule of entertainment available online. Friday 6 p.m. to midnight; Saturday 11 a.m. to midnight; Sunday noon to 6 p.m. Admission on Friday is $15; Saturday is $20; Sunday is $10. All weekend, kids ages 6 to 12 are $5 and under age 6 are free.

Spring has sprung in Fredericksburg!! Don’t miss out on our first Spring Farmer’s Market of 2026! Please join us 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 21 and 9 a.m. -3 p.m. on Sunday, March 22 at Eckhardt Orchards (2150 S. US Hwy 87). We will be offering some of the best and freshest of Fredericksburg, including our Eckhardt family’s curated recipes of peach jams from our 2025 peach crop. Our kitchen has been busy! Also, we have peach salsa, Zany Squash Pickles, Cowboy Candy, pickles, the well-known Meier Ranch Foods (Texas Wild) salsas and BBQ sauces, as well as JoJu Bread!
