This benefit concert supports Jack and Jennifer Hudson, beloved members of the Kerr County community and owners of Quality Patio Furniture. The Hudsons lost all of their tools, supplies, and equipment when their workshop was devastated in the recent flood. Jack is the skilled craftsman behind the handmade picnic tables and benches that fill The Ridge Marketplace, the Gardens, and the Amphitheater.
The evening will feature live performances by Lone Star 118, Callie Ann Stelter, Aaron LaCombe, and Rich O’Toole. Guests can also participate in a Silent Auction with incredible items donated by local businesses, organizations, and artists, including contributions from the Randy Rogers Band and the San Antonio Spurs.

Delicious golden fried catfish and all the trimmings are served up every year on the Saturday before Labor Day at the Doss Fire Station. The Fish Fry is the fire department's annual fund raiser and has become a tradition for many families near and far. The event draws crowds of two to three thousand people each year. The price of the meal is by donation and includes American-raised fried catfish, potato salad, beans, cole slaw, fresh veggies, drinks and homemade desserts. There are also raffle tickets sold and many prizes given away during the event. Additionally, t-shirts and other memorabilia are available for sale.
