The Fred Haus was charming and comfortable, and easy walking distance from the heart of Main Street. I absolutely recommend it to any couple looking for a quick getaway!

This beautiful and charming hand hewn stone house was built in 1890, soaring 11' ceilings, beaded board and original pine floors will take you back in time. Located just one block from Marktplatz and prime shopping and dining on Main street, Fred Haus is the perfect place for you to just park your car and be able to stroll Main Street. The bedroom features a king sized bed complete with luxury bed linens for a restful night's sleep. All the comforts of home are provided for your getaway including a large fully equipped kitchen, clawfoot tub w/shower for a relaxing soak, ceiling fans, front porch w/rockers, fenced yard and off street parking in the deep driveway behind the house which is handicap accessible, and a hot tub for your relaxation after a fabulous day spent in the Burg! Please Note: You are renting a cabin in the Hill Country which means you may encounter wildlife (Snakes, Deer, Racoons, ETC) Please be aware of your surroundings, and take caution while driving at night. You may also encounter the various bugs, spiders, scorpions and mice that live in the country AND sometimes do make their way inside. All properties do utilize pest control services on a regular basis BUT this does not guarantee no pests or bugs will not be visible.
- Quiet Time is from 10:00 pm to 7:00 am, per City Ordinance
- If we are called due to complaints violating Quiet Time:
1st Offense will result in a $250 fine.
2nd Offense will result in a $500 fine.
If police are called, you are responsible for any fines or fees issued with the citation or warning. If police are called there will be a $500 fine, even if no citation is issued.
HOUSE RULES:
-Check in is 4pm
-Check out is 11am
-No smoking/vaping/pens/ecigs permitted
-There will be a $200 per pet fee incurred for undisclosed animals
-Daily housekeeping is not provided
-Park in designated areas only
-Any request to alter or cancel your reservation must be submitted in writing 14 days or more prior to your arrival date
