Alamo Springs Cafe

Alamo Springs Cafe is a beloved burger restaurant in Fredericksburg, TX. Founded back in 2006, our no-frills down-home food quickly drew the attention of burger lovers and weekend warriors looking for a meal off the beaten path.

Our biggest claim to fame is our Texas Monthly “Cover Burger,” featured on the cover of their 2009 Best Burgers in Texas issue! This ½ lb cheeseburger is topped with grilled onions, avocado, green chiles, and served on a jalapeño cheese bun.

If you need more meat in your life, maybe you’re tough enough for the El Jefe Challenge. A 6-patty cheeseburger (that’s 2.5 lbs of ground beef!) plus a large order of fries make up one of the most legendary food challenges this side of the Mississippi. If you can eat it all and stay at the table for another 15 minutes, you’ll get your burger for free, plus an Alamo Springs t-shirt. And your picture will be added to the exclusive “ASC Wall of Fame.”

We also serve sandwiches, salads, dinner specials, and some of the best damn onion rings you’ll ever have. Alamo Springs Cafe is open for lunch and dinner Wednesday – Sunday. Check out live music on Friday and Saturday nights from 6:30pm – 9:30pm.
