Established in 1977, Altdorf Restaurant & Biergarten has long been popular with local residents and visitors to Fredericksburg. Located on Main Street, Altdorf’s shady biergarten is an inviting oasis for the enjoyment of a wide variety of popularly priced food and beverages, and is pet friendly. Indoor dining is also available in the restaurant’s historic limestone building. The menu naturally features traditional German dishes and beers, but a great selection of salads, sandwiches, steaks and even Tex-Mex dishes are also available to please everyone in the family. Live music on weekends!
