The oldest and most acclaimed brewpub in Texas! Named the “Best in Texas” by numerous publications, including Texas Monthly, the Fredericksburg Brewing Company brews have won awards in both U.S. and International Competitions. Their Hauptstrasse Helles (Mainstreet Light) claimed a gold medal at the 2008 Great American Beer Festival Competition, the largest national beer competition it recognizes the most outstanding beers produced in the United States. The Fredericksburg Brewing Company is located in the Historic Main Street Shopping District in a beautifully restored 1890’s building. Because we wanted our patrons to experience the great appearance, sounds and aroma of the magnificent brewing process, we located our bright copper and stainless European-made tanks in full view of all the tables. We invite you to join us for a fabulous meal and a tasty Ale or Lager. And remember, in Fredericksburg, sidewalk consumption of beer and wine is allowed, so you can grab a “growler” of your favorite and take your cold brew on your stroll through town!
