55th Annual Harper Frontier Days & Rodeo
Frontier Days is a celebration of the way life used to be in the Harper community located in western Gillespie County. A full day of activities and rodeo action over two nights will be highlights of the annual event. Friday night will see team roping at 7 pm at the park rodeo arena. Saturday will have many activities during the day including tournaments for washer pitching, water slides, kid fishing, and “42” dominoes as well as a parade at 10:30 am, a BBQ meal from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm and a Lester Meier Rodeo at 7 pm. A dance will follow in the new community hall beginning at 9 pm. The event will be held at and will benefit the Harper Community Park.
