9th Mud Dauber Chili Cook-off

Featuring the best dance music and a return to our chili cook-off roots (Luckenbach and Terlingua are synonamous). A No-Holds-Barred Chili Cook Off…get your team together and get ready to take the Luckenbach GOLD! 1st place winner will receive a $200 cash prize!! Benefiting the Boys & Girls Club of Fredericksburg, Texas. The return of that pesky insect, the Mud Dauber, is also celebrated as Luckenbach has the best MUD in the universe! Featuring live music by Hot Texas Swing Band, Love and Chaos, Lyn Avenue, Roger and Texas Rain and Glen Collins and The Alibis.

Chili judging at 1 pm; People’s Choice and Showmanship judging at 3 pm; awards at 4 pm. Chili tasting kits will be sold separately at the gate for $5.
