Historic Crabapple School Open House

Join the open house at Historic Crabapple School on October 12, 2024, from 11 AM to 4 PM. Tour the restored Teacherage, furnished to reflect the 1890s era, and enjoy a Fall Festival with snacks, drinks, and a concession stand. Participate in games like cornhole while learning about the history of the 44 rural schools that once served Gillespie County. Docents will be available to share stories of school days from the past. This free event celebrates the community spirit that continues to thrive in the Texas Hill Country.
