A social running event for people who like to run while encouraging support for non-profits such as Marrow Match and the San Antonio Amputee Foundation.
There will be a 13.1 half marathon, 10k and 5k. The race will start at the Marktplatz (Market Square) in the heart of Fredericksburg. Half marathon runners will run to the famous Crapapple Road, which has great views and rolling hills in one large loop. Participants will return there and be close to restaurants, clubs, shopping, wine, beer and German-style hospitality.
We’ll have a costume contest, too, so use your imagination and create something whimsical, carefree, time-period specific, or whatever tickles your fancy—if you choose to wear one. Even if you don’t wear a costume, you’ll have a blast!
