Style 208 is delighted to present ART WALK at The Albert Hotel on October 2nd and 3rd, 2026. The Albertina House at 252 E Main Street will be the backdrop to a curated exhibition of artists: Louise LaBauve, BFA, MFA (1938-2019), an accomplished modernist painter who studied under William Lester of The Dallas Nine (known for Early Texas Regionalism), Charles Umlauf, Michael Frary, and others. View her final work, a beautiful contemplative abstract series titled “Meditative Transitions”. Also, Eric Fasking, BFA, will be in attendance painting en plain air. This is an opportunity to meet Eric and view his western scenes, notably “Wanduta” (Chief Red Arrow), and his other masterful oil works which are currently at Style 208. Combined, more than 40 art pieces will be on display under tents on the lawn and inside the Albertina House Friday and Saturday 11-8 pm. Enjoy a collection of vintage Native American turquoise and treasures presented by Mark Brown. We invite you to stop in and browse during your Octoberfest Main Street stroll.
