Summer Camp Programming

Set out on the Texas Frontier Trail this summer at Fort Martin Scott! Gather your party, load your wagon, and prepare for the challenges of frontier life in Texas! Cross rivers, encounter outlaws, trade with settlers and Native peoples, and try not to catch dysentery as you experience the dangers and adventures of the “Wild West” alongside staff and volunteers from historic sites across the Texas Historical Commission.

$30 per child and 7-13 is preferred for the age.

A small popup shop will also be available during camp that will represent each site involved.

Additional Information:
• Bring your own water bottle
• Closed-toed shoes required
• Personal snacks are welcome
• Wear clothes you do not mind getting dirty
• Parents/guardians are encouraged to attend
